Full & Half Marathon Training Program
Running is always better with others!
With Fleet Feet’s Half & Full Marathon Training Program, you’ll follow a holistic training plan designed to help you build the habits, mindset and fitness you need to cross the finish line feeling strong and empowered.
Training for a full or half marathon isn't just about logging miles. It’s about facing challenges, tackling different types of runs, building strength and making space for rest and recovery.
With our program, you’ll connect with other runners, grow together and benefit from expert Fleet Feet running coaches every step of the way. Below are our links to our registration pages - please note that while registration is separate for the Half Marathon Training and the Full Marathon Training, we will run both groups together! If you are undecided on your training distance, we recommend registering for the Full Marathon if you think there's a chance of doing that distance (we can adjust your training plan at a later date if you change distances).
FULL + HALF MARATHON TRAINING PROGRAM
Here’s what you can expect:
- 16 weeks of daily training with our expert coaches
- In-person support for accountability, camaraderie and fun
- Warmup and cool down exercises to make every run smoother
- 2X weekly group runs, with pace coaches to keep you on track
- Mobility and cross-training exercises to balance your training
- Tips from coaches and mentors on gear, nutrition, recovery, mobility and more
- Coaching support in person and via our group chat to answer your questions along the way.
Important Information:
- Dates: January 5th through April 26th, 2026 + June 1st, 2026 - September 20th, 2026
- Goal Races: Targeting the Glass City Marathon or Half Marathon in April and the Garmin Toledo Marathon or Half Marathon in September
- Workout Days: Wednesdays at 6:00pm and Saturdays at 7:30am
- Cost: $135 (Early Bird - $115). This does not include the race fee.
Our Group Training Schedule:
- Wednesdays at 6:00pm - Fleet Feet Toledo - Workout Varies (Hill repeats, track work, etc)
- Saturdays at 7:30am - Alternates between several local metroparks - Long Run. Multiple mileage options each week, as mileage will vary depending on time of season and goal race!
In addition to what you can expect as a participant, you will also receive:
- Weekly Newsletter with location and workout information
- Training Plan for your target race - Half Marathon or Full Marathon
- Safe and organized weekly group long runs with pre-planned routes, turn-by-turn directions, water/aid stations, and mentor led pace groups
- Mentored weekday workouts including Hill Repeats, Track Workouts, and Fartleks, all scaled to your particular goal distance
- Training Program Swag and this season all participants will receive a program shirt
- Online support through a private group chat
- Extra sessions and clinics to go through training principles and topics, chat with some of our Community Partners, and provide more community
- Support from our Community Partners in Physical Therapy, Strength Training, Nutrition, Yoga, and more!
